Arthur joined Alcan NZ Ltd as a graduate trainee in 1974. By 1979 he was managing Foil Mill and Import Agency sales. From 1980 to 1986 he went on to manage Alcan Cory Metals Auckland distribution centre. 1987 saw him move to Fletcher Steel as Aluminium Product Manager. From 1992 for 6 years he ran Comalco’s Auckland Service Centre , then after a brief stint in the anodising Industry he co-founded R&B Aluminium, of which he is the Managing Director.
David has been involved in New Zealand Aluminium extrusion for his entire career. His early work was in residential window and door manufacture with a well-known south Auckland firm where quality & modern technology was essential. David’s experience includes high-end commercial and shopfront installation (including curtain wall and composite panel), curving and bending aluminium extrusions with computer assisted equipment, as well as conservatory and small aluminium structure installations. David brings kiwi knowledge and expertise to Allwin.
Franco graduated from Auckland University’s Architecture school and gained experience working for two large construction companies before starting his own building material supply business in 2010. With 5 year's NZ safety glass experience, he co-found Allwin Windows Doors Ltd in 2014. One of Franco’s passions is reading books and articles on Architecture. Franco enjoys the challenge of difficult building sites and seizes every opportunity to push design boundaries.
Sylvia started in the Aluminium industry in 2007 with R&B Aluminium , becoming their Auckland Office Manager in 2009 , and National Administration Manager in 2011. Sylvia found she had a talent for business after deciding to leave her initial medical studies in her native China to pursue the opportunities New Zealand had to offer. In her time at R&B Aluminium she learnt quickly the skills to handle a fast paced and multi rolled company including the logistics involved in an import based business model. She left R&B to co-found Allwin Windows Doors Ltd in 2014 when she saw a niche in the NZ aluminium window and door market.
